Access, Parking, & Eating in Charles Village.

1. Parking in the area is FREE on SUNDAYS.

2. NEVER park in Lovegrove Street (behind the Meeting House)
Also: the “Free Lot” shown on the map is now CLOSED. It is being built on.

3. WEEKDAY PARKING:

St Paul Street: The COMMERCIAL  Area is 2hr Pay Parking until 9.00 pm.
The RESIDENTIAL areas are 2hr Free Parking until 7pm, then unlimited.

Charles Street Northbound Side road by the Meeting House is 2hr Free Parking until 7pm, then unlimited.

30th Street is 2hr Free Parking until 7pm, then unlimited.

31st Street & 32nd Street are Pay Parking until 6pm, then unlimited.

All the above Pay Parking is 50c/hr. Pay Parking below is $1/hr.

Charles Street Northbound Traffic Lanes & Southbound by Wyman Park are 4 hr Pay Parking 8 am – 8 pm.

Art Museum Drive: 4hr Pay Parking until 10 pm.

Places to eat in the neighborhood:

There are many places on St Paul Street between 31st & 33rd Streets, including a pub, and a cheap Chinese. There is also Gertrude’s at the Art Museum (it can get booked up), and Tambers Diner/Indian food at St Paull & 34th Street.

If you come to Baltimore before the Sunday class, the Baltimore Museum of Art is FREE! (But it is closed on Mondays & Tuesdays)
