Bethesda Class CANCELLED tomorrow May 16

We are sorry to say that we must suddenly cancel the May 16th 5Rhythms Class.  The facilities at the Carderock Swim and Tennis Club are not available — they are re-surfacing the driveway and parking lot, a project which was delayed due to our rainy weather.  We received notice about the building this afternoon — too late to find a substitute venue.

The good news is that we shall have a 5Rhythms class on Friday, May 30th. I shall be in Europe at a Teacher’s Gathering, but Ray Diaz -a teacher-in-training from NYC- will be coming down to lead it. Please give me a warm welcome!

“Dear 5Rhythms Dancers,

I am very sorry to say that we had to cancel the Belonging Workshop with Richard Jerram, due to low registration.  I realize that we scheduled it at a very busy time for everybody.

I was really looking forward to this opportunity to explore the meanings of Belonging, a chance to share movement and group insight with the Bethesda Tribe and Traveling Tribe visitors.  There is something magical about stretching your soul with the support of a workshop Tribe.

Richard created a truly evocative and rich theme in Belonging.  It certainly rings true for me — among a myriad of ways to think about it, I really really love Belonging with like-minded dancers, healers, truth seekers, and questioners on the 5Rhythms dance floor.

We are planning more workshops in the future with Richard Jerram as well as other 5Rhythms teachers.  One possibility to make workshops more accessible is to have a one-day workshop instead of 2 days.  I welcome all comments to help make future workshops successful, fun, and meaningful.

I’ll see you soon in the dance floor!

Best Regards,
Sue”
